If you are considering Snore Eliminator, chances are good that it is the low price that has piqued your curiosity. The price is definitely budget-friendly, but for just a bit more you can get a product that is more comfortable, effective, and durable. VitalSleep is $59.95, but it is by far the better option.
- Material – Snore Eliminator is made with some type of hypoallergenic material. If it doesn’t say BPA-free, you can pretty much assume it has BPA in it. VitalSleep is made of a thermoplastic material that’s free of BPA and latex.
- Recognition – VitalSleep is cleared by the United States Food and Drug Administration and it is made in the USA. It is unknown where Snore Eliminator is made, and it is not cleared by the FDA.
- Fitting Process – Both mouthpieces use the boil-and-bite method to achieve a custom fit. In my experience, VitalSleep molded to my mouth considerably better.
- Design – Snore Eliminator is a simple mouthpiece that does not offer adjustment options. It does have an air hole to breathe out of though. VitalSleep also has an air hole, but the design is very different. VitalSleep allows side-to-side movement, which reduces strain to your lower jaw. This flexible frame offers a more natural feel. Plus, lower jaw placement is able to be adjusted in small increments, up to 7 millimeters.
- Care – VitalSleep does have more crevices than Snore Eliminator, so it will take a few extra seconds to clean with toothpaste and a toothbrush. You can also use this same cleaning process on Snore Eliminator, or soap or mouthwash can be used. With VitalSleep, you will have to keep track of a hex tool in case it ever needs to be refitted.
- Protection – Both devices are backed by a 30-day money back guarantee. However, VitalSleep also comes with a 1 year warranty for replacements, and this even includes shipping.
